Join our dynamic design & installation team for 2025

SOLAR INSTALLERS - GROUND MOUNT CREW 

​​

$25-$30 hr | Part-time | May – Nov 2025 | Province-wide travel

​

Join a dedicated crew installing custom-fabricated ground mounted solar systems in Nova Scotia.

​

Why Boomerang Energy?

  • Work with Nova Scotia’s only home-grown bifacial racking, engineered for coastal wind & snow.

  • Control the whole build: we engineer, form, and pour every concrete foundation in-house—including all ground prep—so you see the project from bare soil to energized array.
     

What you’ll do

  • Prep sites and build solar foundations: set grades, build forms, pour/finish concrete pads.

  • Assemble seasonally-adjustable and pole mount racking.

  • Install solar panels, run wiring, test strings.

  • Carry and lift

  • Keep sites tidy and safe—everybody goes home healthy.
     

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • 6 + months construction, farm or mechanical experience OR solar install background.

  • Comfort with power tools & lifting 50 lb.

  • Valid driver’s licence + your own transportation to sites

  • Fall-Protection & CPR First Aid
     

What we offer

  • $25-$30 hr

  • All PPE, and specialty tools supplied.

  • 4 % vacation pay • employer-paid fall protection recert.

  • Apprenticeship hours & fast-track to 2026 Lead Installer roles.
